The war of words is on between bulls and bears of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) over the impact of a new single-serving coffee machine from Starbucks. Despite assertions to the contrary, the Verismo machine does brew coffee as well as serve as an espresso machine and is priced close to Keurig brewers and Nestle's Nespresso machine. On the flip side, Keurig is clearly the dominant market player and the company has proven itself nimble in the past. GMCR -3.9% premarket.

    Who is writing these posts? The Verismo is priced at $199.00, I have never seen a Kuerig priced above $150.00 usually around $119.00+/- depending on the model, Mr Coffee's Kuerig licensed models are even less. Very misleading!
    Starbucks clearly states that the Verisom is designed as an Expresso brewer and does not compete with the Kuerig brewer. Why would you state otherwise?

    @Bill - I agree. The #Verismo is 30% more expensive than #Kuerig's standard machine.

    $GMCR is down from $115. Why don't you bulls realize you are wrong and salvage the last 20% of your money?. This company clearly violated many regulations and continues to defend itself and waste shareholder funds on attorneys. They are criminals. Don't you see it?.
    You refuse the math which proves fraud mountain is a scam. How can you continue to be in denial?.
