German courts are providing friendly to plaintiffs in software patent suits. Microsoft (MSFT) has won its third injunction against Motorola Mobility's (GOOG) Android gear, this time for a patent that covers switching between input methods in an app. Microsoft, which has reached Android licensing deals with many OEMs, has held settlement talks with Motorola in the past, but they've stalled over Microsoft's insistence on a favorable balance of payments.
