Total (TOT) signs a farm-in agreement with Malaysian state-owned Petronas for the acquisition of a 40% interest in the production sharing contract covering two offshore blocks in Mozambique's prolific Rovuma Basin. The two blocks cover an area of 15,250 sq. km. with water depths ranging up to 2,500 meters; an exploration well is planned by year-end.

    The long term future of Total (TOT) continues to look great. Plus the dividends have been wonderful while I have waited. I've bought and sold shares many times for hefty profits, though I always maintain a position of some longer holdings.
