Up against a disclosure deadline, the Fed files an emergency request for a 90-day delay of the ruling that would force it to share details of its emergency lending program. If the request is approved, the Fed will have until Nov. 18 to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court.

I thought this President promised transparency. Another Obama lie being hid behind closed doors. Want to change the current malaise in government, then start demanding transparency.

Obama is just the most powerful man in the world. He has no control over anything.

Obama has no control over Fed policies. That is the whole point of an independent federal reserve. People will look for any reason to blame Obama for everything. Get real folks.

"Obama has no control over Fed policies"

    ROTFLMFAO....

You need to put down the remote control and talk a walk in real life for a while junior. Helo Ben explicitly said he's in favor of foregoing Fed autonomy when he 'deems' it time to fight inflation. Don't believe me? Google 'Bernanke deflation speech Japan' and then come back.

He had complete control until Bernanke was re-appointed earlier this year. That is re-appointed by Obama as chairman in February, remember. Now we'll see if Bernanke can get things back under control. There was no way he was going to upset Obama, as the controller of his destiny.

Learn about the fed and its governing principles, and come back to me when your political ideology stops distorting your perception of the world.
