RF Micro Devices (RFMD) is supplying two RF switches for the iPhone 5, says Canaccord, after analyzing pictures from teardowns. The firm now expects Samsung and Apple to be RFMD's top 2 customers by year's end - Nokia and RIM joined Samsung in the top 3 last year.

    Someone explain to me why someone else has to tell the investing world that a company has switches in a new phone model..?? Why wouldnt RFMD be busting their butts to tell you themselves...??....just wondering.....BluTopaz.

    Apple insists its suppliers not say a word about their deals with the company. I always find it comical how major suppliers such as OVTI and CRUS make a point of never mentioning Apple by name in their earnings calls, even though their results/guidance often hinge on Apple orders.
