Ireland will split Anglo Irish Bank (OTC:AGIBY) into two parts - a "Funding Bank" and "Asset Recovery Bank" - and dispose of the asset recovery portion over time. It's not yet known how much capital will be needed by the two banks, but the government hopes to reverse recent "material" outflows from the bank.
