Micron (MU +1.1%) is edging higher in spite of ts FQ4 miss, as investors focus on its NAND flash business more than its DRAM business. During Micron's earnings call, execs made favorable remarks about NAND pricing and cost reductions, while admitting PC DRAM sales are getting hit by weak prices, high inventories, and OEM caution. Multiple analysts are bullish on expectations the Elpida deal will lower industry supply and boost cash flow, but Nomura is worried Micron won't turn profitable before next summer. SNDK +0.5%.
