Sony (SNE) sets an ambitious goal of seeing its medical business churn up ¥200B ($2.6B) in sales by 2020 after it sunk close to ¥50B into beleaguered Olympus Corp. The company is making a very serious bet that it will strike fortunes as the market for endoscopes expands rapidly.
