VMWare (VMW) may have led a charmed life over the last decade or so, but new competition from the likes of Microsoft (MSFT) and Citrix (CTXS) and a shift towards cloud computing are among the ominous developments for the firm. Barron's sees the stock as both pricey and vulnerable.

    This is good ... I like VMWare (the defacto standard in VM software), even more so when Barron's is panning it.
