JetBlue (JBLU +1.7%) markets itself as the official airline for disgruntled voters with a promotion that gives away 2012 seats for customers on the losing end of the national election with their votes. The interesting part isn't so much the gimmick itself, but the adroit manner in which the carrier's social media campaigns continue to run circles around rivals. It's a move that some analysts see building brand equity for JBLU that will reap profits down the line.
