The day's most interesting action may be in the Australian dollar. Meandering at about $1.0260, it was hit by a big sell-off just after 10 ET that's taken it to $1.0193 (even as other currencies moved little against the greenback). The aussie has been in downtrend of late as China slows, Oz slows, and the RBA surprised this week with a rate cut. FXA -0.5%.

I have long suspected the Aud will be much higher, and should perform like gold when the time is right. How soon, well, perhaps before the end of the year, but next year for sure.
