Ruckus Wireless, a provider of Wi-Fi gear for carriers and enterprises, has filed for a $100M IPO under the symbol RKUS. Ruckus, which counts Cisco, Aruba Networks, and Ericsson's BelAir division as competitors, posted 1H revenue of $93.9M (+99% Y/Y) and net income of $6.2M. Gross margin stood at a lofty 63.9%. Demand for carrier Wi-Fi equipment has been taking off, as service providers rely on the gear to offload traffic from strained mobile networks. (S-1)
