Suggesting China's GDP stats might be a little more on target than what some believe, the number of visitors to the country's most popular tourist sites rose 21% Y/Y during Golden Week, with sales up 25% Y/Y vs. rising just 9% last year, says BAML's Ting Lu. Maybe it is time to focus more on retail consumption than power usage.
