Coinstar (CSTR -0.6%) tumbles, but quickly bounces back after caution from Piper Jaffray, which says the latest Comscore data show traffic at Redbox turned negative in Q3. In Coinstar's defense, when's the last time an exciting movie worth renting came out?

content truly does drive this business; it will be nice when the coffee kiosks tap into the daily caffiene addiction we all have.......it will even out the choppy DVD incomes

When you can't rent DVDs for $1 like red-box does, you might be in trouble; consumers want streaming content like Netflix does and the convenience of pushing a few keys on their computers and watching it at home vs my driving down the road to get a movie then back to return it. I agree with the content part seems every movie put out is a remake of a previously released one same format, same style over and over again usually just cheaper. I heard son of Rocky goes to Japan is coming out soon.
