Be wary of stocks with exposure to capital markets, says KBWs Joel Jeffrey, downgrading Lazard (LAZ -2.1%) to Market Perform. If M&A is down, why was LAZ up?

I am always curious to see which way things go after they go down.

If Mr. Market was bouncing off the walls, would he notice if M&A was on the rise?

    Who would notice that?
