Ford (F +0.3%) gets a lift after Morgan Stanley tags the company with its Top Pick label to go along with an Overweight rating and $17 price target. If Morgan Stanley's PT is realized, it will be the first time Ford traded at such heights since early 2011.

A reply to kobe2324...We all know what Obama's failed economic policies LQQk like in the last four years. Let's elect Romney and compare the economy and what the state of the union will be in, in his first four years. That would be a very interesting comparison. Sounds like you have given up...I think the rest of America does not have your 'gloom and doom' negative opinion.

Elect Rum-knee and the middle class will have no money to spend on autos after they have all their deductions eliminated on their federal income tax. Rum-knee's actions will be"the rich get richer and the less fortunate get poorer
    'trickle down Reagan economics"

Ford will not see 17/share until the eurozone fixes itself. I think a better and more realistic price target would be 12.75-13.50 by end of 2013 to mid 2014. I am long F and continue to buy below 9.80.

MS needs double wide papers for their price targets.

The analysts aren't quite high enough.

The pending Romney landslide will restrain regulation, especially the EPA, unleash the drillers and pipeline, and choke-off this pathetic nanny state. Welfare cheats will find work, and like it. How about gas @ a $1.00? The economy will be booming in five years. In the first year of his second term, Ford will be fine. And all who jumped on the F Bandwagon @ $10, or better, will be rightfully smug @ $30, or better. The dividend, a dollar, or better. Be sure to vote before the 47% becomes 53%.

Sounds like you've been drinking the administration's Kool-Aid, the Bush administration was doing fine until the Democrats took over the house and senate in 2006, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank, and their sub prime mortgages. Pres. Obama has compounded the problem, the worst president we've ever had.

Isn't it funny that the article asked for comments about Morgan Stanely's 'Overweight' rating and I said "Music to my ears." Then followed up with personal thoughts about voting for (soon to be President) Romney, and the political comment gets more reaction than the subject of the article.

Hey - you lit the match, started the fire, and threw gasoline on it. You can't pretend to be astonished that the house burned down as a result.
