American Airlines (AAMRQ.PK) says the flight cuts it enacted due to operational issues will continue until November 14. The carrier trimmed capacity by as much as 1%-2% as it dealt with an unusually high number of sick pilots just as talks between management and union reps heated up.

    I would keep cutting until you get rid of the sick pilots.....

    This is inaccurate. There were no talks going on and the pilot sick rate was not significantly different from y/y data. The operational issues had to do with broken airplanes and shortfalls in manning. But, this management has never taken responsibility for their mistakes. It is always labor's fault.
