Wal-Mart (WMT +1.2%) continues its push into financial services (previous: WMT-AXP deal) with a pilot program to sell life insurance at around 200 of its stores in Georgia and South Carolina. Shoppers can sign up for a pre-paid one-year policy through MetLife of $10K to $25K worth of coverage for a cost, on average, of about $100.
