Manufacturing issues or not, Apple (AAPL +0.7%) has raised calendar Q4 iPhone 5 build orders to 60M-65M units from a prior 55M-60M, thinks Jefferies' Peter Misek - if true, that's a positive for component suppliers such as CRUS, OVTI, QCOM, BRCM, SWKS, and TQNT. Misek, who adds iPhone 5 lead time remain at 3-4 weeks in the 31 countries where it's available, continues to expect 55M iPhones will be shipped this quarter.

Thanks for debunking Ed Liston's irresponsible article. Where does he think Walmart has been getting their product for the last decade. Articles like his are why people dislike Wall Street. Articles like his destroy honest American retirement savings just so he can sell his article. Finally we get another American company that actually invents stuff and creates jobs. If he wants to rant, why not against the companies that are making millions off of selling bombs so our private military (Hessians) can kill for profit. His issue is real but it only does harm. He should be reprimanded by Seeking Alpha.

I don't know where this lead time is coming from. I ordered my new iPhone 5 upgrade through AT&T and received it 12 days later. I think that is reasonable for ordering my phone in the original rush, which I've never done before. And yes I tracked it via FedEx from China.
