Great company - a hidden gem. Investors can make money on CLMT with trading around a core positio, dividends, capital appreciation and put and call options.

5% inc in distribution, 8.5% inc in price... I don't understand it, but I'll take it. One of the best performers in my portfolio.

The recent sell off appeared to be a fund or two redistributing its portfolio. Happens every October in various sectors.

With the increased distribution they are virtually guaranteed to blow earnings out of the water for the third time in 3 quarters! Its also the 9th quarter in a row where Calumet has increased its distribution! If that doesn't speak positively about the stock I don't know what does. They are continuously acquiring new companies, products, and refineries.

The distribution is coming up in about two weeks and the stock should make a nice run up until at least the ex-distribution date. There was some profit taking at the end of today's rally but altogether the technical indicators are pointing up while the stock is still in heavy oversold territory. I bet we retest 34.00 by next week.
