Nike (NKE) says it will end its contract with Lance Armstrong as it condemns the athlete for his alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs. While a fall from grace is nothing earth-shattering in the world of high-profile sports world, Nike and Lance Armstrong became more interwoven over the years with the Livestrong brand prominently displayed at stores and through its website.

Yep. Another stellar proofreading job by the folks at SA.

Give it a rest ...what "overhead" do you think your FREE use of this site provides for to catch every grammatical error?

Here's an idea ... put on some pants, back away from your likely profitless day-trading, and go do something productive.

Or, at least visit a different site, if this one is so inadequate for your Thurston Howell the 3rd tastes. You get what you pay for.

I think his point is that for an "investing" site there are a lot of errors in these blurbs... It's not like an article it's a short blurb that takes 5 minutes at most to edit/proofread. If this only happened 1-3 times a week I would be in agreement with you... but pretty much everyday 1-5 times a day is a bit much for anyone.

If you want to be a premier site stuff like this needs to be minimized. That being said SA has a lot of good, more so than the bad. They need to do a better job of say not letting authors basically regurgitate information into 10 articles, and of course proofreading these blurbs before posting.

Exactly! Go check out Motley Food and see how many grammatical errors you run into. I see it a lot more here. It doesn't help your site's credibility when basic things like spelling aren't addressed.

I stand with Nike in condoning steroid use. I want to see Lance bike up Everest. Long NKE.

I boycott Nike. Lance Armstrong has always been a liar, and now the world is seeing him for the fraud he has been and will always be based on his belligerent and continued defiance.

That Nike continues to support LIVESTRONG, a charity who's sole intention has morphed into giving its fraudulent namesake a vanity vehicle and "whitewashing" of doping sins, is preposterous. Coupled with their continued support of Tiger Woods and likely other "role models" to pimp their products, I'll have nothing to do with that brand, and won't sidestep an opportunity to share my feelings -- call me a "Net Detractor -- about their exploitative brand.
