Juniper (JNPR +9.2%) soars on a slightly old rumor it has hired JPMorgan to help find a buyer, and that one bid is reportedly in the mid-to-high $20s. EMC, long rumored to be thinking about acquiring a networking vendor as its partnership with Cisco frays, is named as a potentially interested party. Juniper (current market cap of $9.7B) wouldn't be an easy fish for EMC (current market cap of $53.8B) to digest, especially after baking in a premium.
