Visa (V) and MasterCard (MC) sign a $7.25B class action settlement over credit-card swipe fees. The deal, announced back in July, would allow the payment networks and several banks that issue their cards to resolve litigation that has lingered since 2005. If approved, up to 8M retailers could receive payments totaling $6.05B.
