Airgas (ARG -0.7%) shares slip after its board says it believes the company's value in a sale is at least $78/share. Previously, the board had said a transaction would be "meaningfully in excess of $70/share." The reaction in the stock may suggest that the new valuation is being viewed as a stretch from Air Products' (APD +1.5%) $65.50/share offer.
