The European Union's Court of Justice rules against Deutsche Lufthansa AG and British Airways (BAIRY.PK) by upholding a previous decision on paying compensation to passengers on flights in Europe that have been delayed by three hours or more. Carriers will be exempt from paying back passengers in the event of bad weather conditions or a strike.
