I wonder if the reported earnings include stock based comp? Or is FB pulling a CRM type scam here...?

14% of total ad rev from mobile impressive?
Typical pump and dump from the institutional crowd and the folks that brought you the memorable IPO.
Take a look at the lockup schedule. Do the math.
    End transmission.

How many of these MAUs are unique? From what I've seen on other sites that require commenters to have FB accounts, people are setting up fake FB accounts just so they can post elsewhere without using their real names.

And sadly... this counts as one of their myriads of "active" accounts per their metrics.

Duplicated accounts are rampant, I agree. The issue is how much money they can pump out of advertisers for the same customers. Indeed, the cost for Facebook's clients is set to rise even if the CPM doesn't. I expect this to continue until its customers figure out the scam and stop.

This is similar to Yahoo and Google before when they figured out click fraud. A user who looks up something on a computer and then looks it up via mobile is not worth 2x what they were before and many people have completely new IDs on mobile. There are more mobile IDs than people in the US. Poor fool paid ad clients...

I set up two accounts, just so I got alerts on different e-mail accounts (I need French and English, and use separate accounts for work, family and play) and I don't even like FB! Anybody trying to cook the books could easily generate hundreds...
