Nokia (NOK) will again develop the Symbian mobile operating system, which a few years ago it spun off to the open source community. Given how other licensees have dropped the platform, Nokia had little choice. In Q3, although declining, Symbian was the mobile OS leader with 37% market share, followed by Google's Android, at 17%.
