In its 10-Q, Morgan Stanley (MS -1.5%) says it could lose $274M in write-offs related to a collateralized debt obligation called Tourmaline - the subject of a suit filed by U.S. Bank (USB) against MS and Barclays (BCS) set for trial Nov. 17.
