Amgen (AMGN +1.3%) ticks up after its Q3 beat on bottom line estimates late yesterday. Net earnings more than doubled as newer products boosted revenue growth and its bottom line was aided by an absence of litigation-related charges. The company also guided FY12 revenue higher, now expecting to earn around $17.2B - $17.3B and its EPS to $6.50 - $6.60. The Street view was for $17.06 bln and and EPS number of $6.33.
