Southern Copper (SCCO +1%) says Q3 EPS fell 67% Y/Y to $0.26, reflecting softer global copper prices and a $316M charge for legal fees. Copper mine output was 486K tons in the first nine months of 2012, up 11.2% Y/Y. Copper fundamentals are "solid," chairman German Larrea says, adding "the world economies are getting prepared for a period of growth."

Do I have it right that they declared a $2.75 dividend?

So awesome. Especially since the previous qtr the payout was only $.24 - down 55% from the previous qtr payout of $.53. This payout was more than was previously estimated for the entire year! When I first bought SCCO in March, annual dividend was $2.70 I believe, which was still awesome - almost 7%. This will be a great little holiday bonus.

Oh, kinda funny - if you go to Yahoo! Finance, it says this for SCCO:

    Div & Yield: 11.00 (29.00%)

    Ha, I wish...
