Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B) reportedly is seeking to work around sanctions by repaying a $1.4B oil debt to Iran with a grain barter deal through agribusiness giant Cargill. Shell wants to repay what it owes National Iranian Oil Corp. and is looking ahead to relations with a post-sanctions Iran, and "an offset transaction is the only way forward."
