India is one market where Nokia (NOK) hasn't lost its market share lead: research firm CMR estimates the struggling Finnish phone giant accounted for 22.2% of Indian mobile phone shipments in 1H12, putting it easily ahead of #2 Samsung (13% share) and #3 Micromax (5.5%). A big reason why: smartphones are estimated to have made up just 5% of shipments in the cost-sensitive market, and to have actually posted a slower growth rate (12.2%) than feature phones (16.9%).
