Hurricane Sandy may have cancelled Google's (GOOG) NYC Android event, but the company is still unveiling its Nexus 10 tablet and Nexus 4 smartphone today. In spite of its high-res display, the 16GB Nexus 10 (made by Samsung) is priced at $399, undercutting the 16GB retina iPad by $100 - that might be necessary, given the iPad's high-end dominance/app lead. The Nexus 4 (made by LG) lacks 4G support, something that should limit its U.S. appeal. But it will cost just $299-$349 without a contract. (earlier)

These all look like solid offerings. Looking forward to further reviews of the Nexus 4.

I wish they'd start adding a microSD slot and removable battery to these Nexus phones. It's a very easy thing to do
