TIM Participaçoes, Telecom Italia's (TI) Brazilian unit, has signed 4G infrastructure equipment deals with Ericsson (ERIC), Nokia Siemens (NOK, [[SI]), and Huawei. TIM, Brazil's #2 mobile carrier, is aiming to launch 4G services ahead of the government's April 2013 deadline.
