Gold producers are climbing from 28-year lows relative to gold prices as the companies begin to tighten their operating constraints and generate more cash flow. Analysts are optimistic about upcoming reports from Barrick Gold (ABX) and Newmont Mining (NEM) after stellar quarters from Yamana Gold (AUY +8.2%), Goldcorp (GG) and Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM).

If I want gold, I'll buy gold. If I want headaches, I'll buy ABX, AUY, GG, AEM....

I am not singling out any stocks or sectors but I do know that the PM (precious metal) community is one of the most notorious for overstating the case. I have news articles and ads from people who are using the same rhetoric as they used 20 + year ago, stating the same old case for their products, in most cases fear of the unknown and politics war, and mainly inflation.

Well, for once they are probably right because if [as with any investment, almost] if you toot the up or down bugle long enough, eventually you gotta be right, sweeping up the newbies along the way. If perchance you get it right, and have gotten a 1st time investor a great profit [by accident], then you have a pigeon for life who will sing your song to many.

For now, methinks their song may be approaching correctness, as what they have been touting for years just may come true soon.

I have long thought the PM's would be higher by now, but I also have listened to their siren, but I have accumulated much for years now, and my stash has been bought at lower, much lower prices.

I can say this, now I believe it is time to accumulate Pd. [Palladium].
I have just added to my 'collection' one ounce of Pd in a russian coin, which is graded at PF69. I am not whole hog on extra-USA coins, but I think this one will go up.

I need to write an article on Pd, as it properties should make it, [eventually] surpass the price of Pt [platinum] of which I have quite enough of.
Anyway, I am "Holding the Gold" not getting big in stocks. I do own a few hunnert shs of GDXJ, just to say I got 'em.

I have been following gold and gold stocks for over twenty years, and bought gold coins, brokerage held, in 2008, and then last year bought ABX stock on the same thinking. My broker suggested North American Palladium about 6 months back. Google Finance says no dividend, so also no P/E; or too speculative. So we are nearly on the same page. Does not look like you do enough homework to me before buying though. GDXJ, an exchange traded product I believe; I guess you have no interest in dividends or any intervening income. Probably nice, but not where most small investors need to be. Or the crowd you are preaching to is pretty small; the non small investors. And I bet you have never been lost in your life. So why the charade of being lost? Or is publishing being lost your form of an inside joke?

Yes, you need to say more and be more direct because investing is hard and tricky work and your riddling is not useful; except maybe to you and people you have been trading with for an extended period of time.
