Costco (COST) cites inflation in gas prices and stronger foreign currency as two positive drivers on October sales. Excluding those two factors, both international sales and domestic sales rose 5%. Execs say on a pre-recorded sales call the effect of Hurricane Sandy on November sales will be negligible.
