Could some DRAM makers join Elpida in being driven out of business? Powerchip reported a $123M Q3 loss and just saw trading in its shares suspended on Taiwan's OTC market. Inotera, a Micron/Nanya JV, posted a $150M Q3 loss, and Nanya itself also posting big losses. Any additional failures would give Micron (MU), Samsung (SSNLF.PK), and SK Hynix the chance to further strengthen their hands and lower supply amidst a bleak PC demand backdrop. (Micron/Elpida)
