New web connectivity capabilities aren't boosting U.S. TV sales, given many customers just bought their first flat-screen sets and are hesitant to upgrade. This especially hurts sales of Google (GOOG) TV sets, as customers can access many of the same services from Netflix (NFLX) without the up-front system purchase.
