Bank of America (BAC) has begun potential settlement discussions with some of its largest mortgage investors, WSJ reports. The approach appears to be a major shift in strategy for CEO Brian Moynihan, who had pledged to fight requests to repurchase flawed mortgages made before the U.S. housing collapse. BAC +2.2% AH.
