Verizon (VZ) -1.6% after disclosing Hurricane Sandy could have a "significant" impact on Q4 results. The telco, which saw some of its NYC switching facilities get flooded, says it's focusing its resources on restoring services to affected customers, and cautions it "may take some time."

    Storm news - stock decline is larger than the damage. I'm holding. Buying other storm related CAT WGO TREX. Also buying EXC on selling climax - storm damage minimal in their service area.
