Wunderlich Securities analyst Matthew Harrigan dissects the potential of new Star Wars films from Disney (DIS +1.3%) to generate enough revenue to pay for the deal price by themselves. He says at $800M a pop (conservative) and an extra $200M in years with no releases (reasonable), deriving a value of $5B for Lucasfilm isn't hard to do - estimates outside of what the Star Wars can do to boost Parks/Resorts and merchandising opportunities.
