More snow fallout: With Eastern U.S. storms shaking up one of the year's busiest shopping days, retailers might have to deepen discounts to get snowbound shoppers out of their homes: "Look for sales to be repeated... They’re going to be more aggressive. They’ve got to throw another party."

If that's the case, after-Christmas shoppers were likely "homebound" to begin with, storm or no storm.

Christmas in US should be extended to January 6, that is the celebration of 3 Kings Day or Epifany. Its the day when kids receives their presents in almost all parts of the Christian world. It is a lovely leyend that says that newborn Jesus was visited by 3 Kings of the Middle East area, and that they gave presents to him . Is more credible than nice lookin Santa and parents (consumers) wil have more time to do their shopping. Conclusion, more holydays in the very cold season = more happy people on a buying mood.

False. Utterly false. This is only the case in eastern orthodox churches, and even then, not in all of them.
