Taking multivitamins every day didn't reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke in an 11-year study of over 14,500 men over the age of 50, although there did seem to be a reduced risk of cancer. Companies that operate in the sector include Pfizer (PFE), which supplied the vitamins for the study, NBTY (NTY) and Schiff (SHF).

Depends if the trial used chemically produced multi vits or the true multi vits derived from natural organic sources. Not surprised no major positive results if chemically produced. Lots of counter data showing that chemically "manufactured" multi vits are negative to health. The vit D saga also points to advisory bodies being totally incapable of recommending what is the correct daily vit D dosage!
    Which D? etc etc

Ah, one can create their own multi vitamin via a NJ FDA cert plant that manufactures for mostly all 'brands'. This means nothing unless they disclose source ingredients, coatings, altering agents, chemicals, so many factors. Thanks for the potty read
