Poland’s PGNiG is the latest European company to renegotiate the amount it pays Gazprom for gas. The Russian giant has adjusted prices for several European customers amid complaints that gas bought under long-term contracts linked to oil prices has become expensive after increased production of unconventional gas in the U.S. pushed down the cost of natural gas on the world market.
