The Olympics may seek $2.2B for 2014-16 broadcast rights, and Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) may be prove a more cautious operator than NBC’s current owner (NYSE:GE). Comcast may not want its first move with its new partner to lose a long-held NBC asset, but they will be eager to show they can make money running the network, and the Olympics may not be the way to do it.
