    The Australian media tend to agree with the assessment that the Australian dollar will continue its exchange rate assent against the USD as the following shows:

    But the flood in Queensland (which seriously affects an area larger than France and Germany combined including much of Australia’s coal and iron ore mining and shipping capacity) may well put a substantial dent in this ascension for a couple of quarters.
