High-yield bond issuance has hit $341.6B YTD, according to Lipper, surpassing the full-year record of $322.9B in 2010. The move has been especially impressive in H2, as volumes actually trailed 2011's moderate pace through the end of June. Europe too: Issuance has hit $61.4B so far, also a record.

(I am learning). Does this means US and European corporations need money and can borrow at low interest rates?
Is this bullish or bearish. As an investor is this a sector to avoid?

    Thanks,
