When it comes to Internet music, many consumers clearly prefer to keep it simple and go with radio services such as Pandora (P). An NPD survey estimates Internet radio's U.S. audience is up 27% Y/Y, easily surpassing the 18% growth seen by on-demand services such as Spotify, VEVO, YouTube, and Rdio. 37% of U.S. Web users now use Internet radio, and 36% on-demand services. Also: Pandora users are cutting back on other music sources, and 34% of them now listen in their cars.
