US Airways (LCC) yesterday presented its case for a merger with AMR (AAMRQ.PK) to the bankrupt airline's unsecured creditors committee, Bloomberg reports. The panel has a say in AMR's restructure, and includes the carrier's three largest unions and bondholder representatives. The committee is due to meet today with representatives from AMR, which wants to exit Chapter 11 as a standalone operator.
