"Interest income is in a full-fledged bear market and dividend income is in a massive bull market," says David Rosenberg, turning bullish on stocks at the expense of Treasurys for the first time in forever. The S&P yield hasn't had this great of a spread over the 5-year Treasury since the late 1950s.

If dividend income stocks are in a raging bull market, why did issues like NMM and some REITs go down so hard in the last two days with news of the fiscal cliff, and other government induced nonsense? This is why I have been saying, "Get out and stay out until the dust settles from this stupid election. Go back a couple of my comments and notice what I said about electing Obumma again. Wanna look also at states movements towards leaving. These are epic situations, so how is an investor to make intelligent decisions when this krap is going on?
Again, I am sticking to my annuities, staying out of all issues til this chitstorm passes. I can't believe we are looking at total destruction of the "American Way" and those in power and the takers are totally in denial of what they are causing.
I have met with my tax man, and I am paying 6 figures this year so our NGM's can distribute MY MONEY to those who are not working, and Now that I am getting my Social Security money, that I already earned and paid taxes on, and gave to the NGM's to hold for me, let them use it for over half a century, and when I get MY money back, which I already paid income tax on, the NGM's have worked it out so I have to pay to get my money back from them. Is this taxation without representation? Or is it stupid allowing it? I repeat, it is not the fool leading, it is the fools who elected him the Prince of Fools.
I don't know where this is going, but I do know this. I can live my lifestyle by NOT investing, just live off the fat of the land. But with my tax credits from this year, I can make money next year and in fact for two years and not pay taxes. After that, I am gonna get hit hard, and may just not have any capital gains. This whole thing is ridiculous and getting more out or hand on a daily basis. Russia fell apart at the seams, and the rich criminals took over, America is falling apart, and who will rise to the top? The Poor People? I kinda doubt it. We had better find a way to fix the cracks in the dam of democracy, and get back to what works. Our present path is one that leads to destruction.
Easier to fix or undo what the NGM's are doing, that to fix the people's attitude who elected them.
I am in fact, more worried today than ever.
